President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, the two leading contenders for their party presidential nominations this year, each filed nominating petitions Thursday morning to appear on the March 19 Illinois primary ballot.

Biden, along with longshot candidates Minnesota Congressman Dean Phillips and author Marianne Williamson filed petitions Thursday.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley joined Trump filing Thursday morning. Republican longshot Ryan Binkley also filed Thursday. Not filing were former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.

Trump’s filing was immediately challenged by a handful of Democrats seeking to bar him from the ballot based on a 14th amendment argument claiming Trump participated in insurrection. (He, of course, has not been convicted of any such crime.) It’s unlikely the State Board of Elections removes Trump from the ballot on that argument, but it could wind up in court.

The presidential race in Illinois is essentially a vanity project, of course, as the delegates needed to secure the nomination are directly elected by voters. Most campaigns were mum on who would part of their delegate slates.

Neither Democrats Phillips or Williamson filed any delegates Thursday. Democrats have more delegates, selecting as many as eight in a congressional district compared to three in each district for Republicans.

Here are some notable names appearing on the delegate slates for each campaign:
